So it seems like life has kept us all very busy lately, so much so, I haven’t been keeping this blog as up to date as I should. I apologize, but I just finished posting a slew of new photos, and we have been taking video of Brendan lately, so I will try to get that edited into a nice little video asap.
Jeni has been busy with her third year as a teacher, and I have been swamped at work as I have been given the responsiblity to help train and design a new sales software at work. But you probably don’t care about that!
Brendan is not yet walking or fully crawling yet. He is doing more of an army crawl. He is babbling up a storm but still no real words, more like Gaga for me, and nothing really coherent for Jeni yet. He is eating a lot more solid foods, a lot of time she won’t even want to eat his baby food, he will just want to eat straight off of our plate.
On top of that, he has gained an affinity for Hannah Montanna, or at least her the theme song from her TV show on Disney. I believe we have a video of a lot of this stuff, so I will try to get that done as soon as possible.
On a side note, if you want to see what I have been doing in my “spare time” check out my Video Game Podcast…http://2ndPlayer.net
I wish everyone a safe Holiday Season, and I will try to put as many pictures up as I can.
A little bit belated, but Brendan wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween as the Cat in the Hat!
It seems like all of Brendan’s baby friends are having birthday’s these days. His is just around the corner. But until then, it looks like he just wants to take all the balls out of the ball pit.
Bailey Chen invited Brendan to her third birthday, but Morgan seemed to keep Brendan’s attention the entire time.
Jeni took her kids on a field trip this week to the firestation. And Brendan wanted to show mommy that he could be a firefighter too. As you can see here, he is on his stomach. Which would make you think he is crawling. But I don’t know if I would call what my son is doing, crawling. It is more like a wounded soldier trying to get across the battlefield.
Anyways, Brendan and I have to go watch UCF get beat by USF some more. Have a Good Day.
Brendan wanted to try on his thanksgiving gear early.
Brendan, Jeni and Kye wanted to show their Gator Spirit today. They couldn’t make it to the game, but they did watch the scoreboard on ncaafootball.com.
GO GATORS!!!!
Just a very quick, very late announcment about Brendan being Baptized. He did very well, and it was a great fun to see all the family together.
Jeni and I were a little concerned because he wasn’t quite finished with his bottle when we had to take him up there. Usually when we take the bottle away a little early he gives it to us, but he did very well.
So congrats son, you are no longer going to pergatory. Not that you would have before becuase
1. We are methodist/episcopal.
2. I think the catholics got rid of it.
This is the last post I will make in this blitz of posts. A lot has happened over the last month. Brendan turned a month older. He has gotten 4 teeth, with two more coming in now. Kye lynn and him are playing a lot now when Brendan is sitting on the floor but along with playing comes their firs fight. Brendan wanted a toy to himself, and Kye wanted to play tug-o-war…hence there first fight.
Last night we went to the Parsons house to celebrate Robin graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. It was a very happy occasion, and we were glad we got to catch up with all the Parsons as well as meet the new additions Lilly and Megan. Congratulations Robin on graduating, and the other news that I won’t mention as I am sure not everyone has been told just yet!
Keep your eyes out for a bunch more photos since last weekend we had some professional photos done by Jayme Fairhurst @ JLF Photography. Jayme attends Soul House with us at St. Luke’s and did a magnificent job with all the pictures. Thank you Jayme!
Finally next week Brendan is getting baptized at St. Luke’s Methodist Church. We are looking forward to his baptism and seeing all the family that is coming to join in the celebration.
